Wadim Jablonski, Jakub Radziejowski, and Ondrej Huserka (a Slovak national and the only non-Pole in the group) aim to open a new route on the East Face of Thalay Sagar (6,904m) in the Kedar Tal Valley. Their partners will head to the Gangotri Valley, which is also the destination of Alex and Thomas Huber. The two Germans have not yet revealed their current goal.
Adam Bielecki — a Winter Broad Peak summit — currently prefers to climb with his country’s national team. The group usually combines very experienced climbers with young promising ones on lonelier ranges. Bielecki also joined them last year on some Karakoram 6,000’ers.
This year, Bielecki, along with Damian Granowski and Kacper Kloda, will climb a new route on 6,000m Swachhand Peak. Meanwhile, Mateusz Grobel and Mateusz Wieckowski will repeat the only route yet opened on Bhagirathi II (by Austrians Edi Ellmauthaler and Toni Messner in 1933).
The team will remain in the mountains until the end of October.
